BONTEMPI is the ideal partner for cookware producers because since the end of the seventies it has specialized exclusively in the study and development of innovative machines for the production of cookware.

The company is dedicated to the optimization of the production processes and aims at the containment of costs and spaces and at the improvement of the level of automation.

We pursue the highest quality standards using components and raw materials coming exclusively from western Europe, mostly from Italy and Germany, while most of the electronic components come from Japan.

BONTEMPI was born at the beginning of the seventies as a manufacturer of mechanical equipment and it specialized in 1981 with the first innovative machine dedicated to cookware, a prototype that since the beginning marks our natural predisposition to the innovation and the study of dedicated solutions, thanks to the talent of the founder, Emiliano Bontempi.

Since the beginning we patented many specialized working units and cells.

In 1992 the company moves to Cellatica, province of Brescia – a city with many industrial districts, including the cookware district – in a new factory on a surface of 4,000 m2 where the 35 members of the staff work today.

The sales volume is about 5 million euros per year with a considerable export quota, often more than 50%, in more than 50 countries. From 2003 Bontempi also produces rivets and accessories in different alloys and metals inside its factory using machines for cold forming.

The company is property of a single family: the direct involvement of the owners, today at the second generation, grants financial solidity, continuity, entrepreneurial ethics, a direct relationship with the customers (who often become friends), as well as flexibility and quick replies with new solutions designs.

Bontempi is a company established and managed by technical engineers, all of them, since the early stages, oriented towards technology innovation and practical solutions that are measurable in the economic return of the investment and in their real efficiency.

Since the beginning Bontempi is a manufacturer, not an assembler of parts: each single piece of equipment is designed and manufactured in the factory of Cellatica with special care for details and the utmost care in the control and testing phases.

The most important parts are supplied to the Assembly Department and to the Warehouse by an internal department dedicated to Mechanical Processing, which grants a direct quality control, optimized costs and quick delivery times.

None of the machines produced by Bontempi will therefore become obsolete: thanks to the drawings of the original equipment it will always be possible to deliver the original spare parts.

The company is completed by:

• A Design Office with 3D CAD stations which, since the design stage, allow the simulation and the confirmation of the projects showing loads, dimensions and interactions, which is very important in the early phase of quotations, design, planning, estimation of the cost and layouts;
• An Electronic Department, where the electrical boards are designed and manufactured developing software dedicated to the specific use on an international hardware basis (for example Omron or Yaskawa motors; Omron, Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC);
• A Research and Development Department;
• A spare parts Stock;
• A Service Team composed of commercial staff who received technical training within the company, ready to provide solutions both on site and via conference video-calls. For the installation and training of our machines we have at the customers’ disposal a team of specialized technical engineers and software programmers who can also provide remote assistance via Tele Service thanks to the modem installed on the machines.
